Garlic Beer Bread Mix
Garlic Beer Bread Mix
Garlic Beer Bread is a savory, aromatic loaf that elevates the comforting simplicity of beer bread with the rich, robust flavor of garlic. Infused with freshly minced garlic, this bread offers a warm, earthy taste that pairs beautifully with the subtle maltiness of the beer. As it bakes, the garlic permeates the dough, creating a fragrant, golden-brown crust that’s slightly crispy on the outside, while the inside remains soft and tender. The result is a flavorful bread with a perfect balance of garlicky richness and a hint of tang from the beer, ideal for pairing with pasta dishes, soups, or simply enjoying with a smear of butter.
Ingredients

For optimum shelf life, store dry mix in your refrigerator or freezer.
Directions
Ingredients needed:
★ Garlic Beer Bread Mix (with included leavening packet)
★ 12 oz. beer or club soda, room temperature (dark beer will have a nuttier taste)
★ 1/4 cup butter, melted
Optional: 1/2 cup shredded cheese (i.e., Cheddar, Monterey Jack, Parmesan)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease 9x5-inch loaf pan. Combine Garlic Beer Bread Mix and contents of leavening packet in a large bowl. Stir dry mix together thoroughly with a fork, then add beer. Optional: add shredded cheese. Mix well until blended. Do not eat raw, unbaked batter. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. Pour melted butter evenly over batter. Allow to set in pan for 15 minutes before baking. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes until bread lightly springs back to touch. Bread must be baked thoroughly, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. If cheese or additional ingredients are added, increase baking by 5 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool on a wire rack. Tightly wrap with plastic wrap. Bread may be served after baking, but allowing baked bread to sit overnight intensifies flavor. Sliced bread may be toasted. You may need to alter liquid amounts for high altitude cooking.
